J. David Miller is a Board Certified Civil Trial Specialist who handles automobile accident cases and truck accident cases involving serious injury or death. He also handles workers' compensation cases. He received his law degree from the Cumberland School at Samford University in 1985 and has over 21 years of experience in the private practice of law.

Mr. Miller is certified by the Tennessee Commission on Continuing Legal Education and Specialization, and by the National Board of Trial Advocacy, as a Civil Trial Specialist. He represents clients during the negotiation, mediation, trial and appeal of accident and injury cases in both Federal and State courts.

Mr. Miller has been admitted to practice in the United States Supreme Court, U.S. Claims Court, U.S. Court of Appeals Sixth Circuit, U.S. District Court and the trial and appellate courts of the State of Tennessee, including the Tennessee Supreme Court. He is a member of the American Association for Justice, the Tennessee Trial Lawyers Association, the American Bar Association and the Tennessee Bar Association. He has served three consecutive terms on the Board of Governors for the Tennessee Trial Lawyers (1995-1998).He is currently on the Board of Directors of the Kingsport Lifesaving & First Aid Crew and is a member of the Fraternal Order of Police.
