James F. Keesling is a former Chief of Police of the Kingsport, Tennessee Police Department who investigates cases for the firm. With his forty-four years of experience in law enforcement Mr. Keesling is able to provide valuable services for the firm's clients during the investigation and development of the case. Mr Keesling interviews and interrogates witnesses and other individuals involved in the case and works with law enforcment officials to obtain and preserve evidence in accident cases. He also consults with our attorneys regarding the investigative aspects of the case.
Mr. Keesling has worked with the police departments in Richmond, Virginia; Bristol, Virginia; Bristol, Tennessee; and Kingsport, Tennessee. He was Chief of Police of the Kingsport Police Department from 1986-2000. He also served with the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation for eighteen years where he rose to the rank of assistant director. He is a past president of the FBI National Academy of Associates. He has been recognized as an Outstanding Alumni of East Tennessee State University and has been named to the Hall of Fame of Walters State Community college.
Mr. Keesling is a member of the Tennessee Law Enforcement Officers Association and the Tennessee Association of Chiefs of Police. He is the current Vice-President of the Burgess Mills Lodge of the Fraternal Order of Police. Mr. Keesling is active in community affairs and is a current member of the Kingsport Rotary Club. |
