John S. Bingham is a Board-Certified Civil Trial
Specialist who handles tractor-trailer cases, automobile cases
and medical malpractice cases involving death or serious injury.
He received his law degree from the University of Tennessee in
1978 and has over twenty eight years of experience in the practice
of law, including four years as an assistant district attorney
in Sullivan County, Tennessee (1980-84). Since 1984 he has been
engaged in the private practice of law.
Mr. Bingham is certified by
the Tennessee Commission on Continuing Education and Specialization,
and by the National Board of Trial Advocacy, as a Civil Trial
Specialist. For several years he has received the highest rating
(AV) from Martindale-Hubbell in the national law directory. Mr.
Bingham represents clients during the negotiation, mediation,
trial and appeal of accident and injury cases in both Federal
and State courts. He has lectured to the Tennessee
Trial Lawyers regarding developments in the law of wrongful death
damages.
Mr. Bingham has been
admitted to practice in the United States Supreme Court, U.S.
Custom Court, U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals (6th Circuit). U.S.
District Court, and the trial and appellate courts of the State of
Tennessee including the Tennessee Supreme Court. He is a member of
the American Association for Justice, the Tennessee Trial
Lawyers Association, the American Bar Association, and the
Tennessee Bar Association.
